Rishikesh - Mussoorie- Delhi - Jaipur - Pushkar

In Rishikesh I met a bunch of amazing people and some of us decided to go together to the Indian holiday town of Mussoorie. This little town surprised us (a group of 8 travelers) with it's cleanliness and it's fancy outfit. The himalayan range amazed us with it's beauty.
Three days later we headed to Delhi where our ways split again.
Now I'm in the beautiful and modern citz of Jaipur (Rajastan).
Tomorrow my trip leads me to Pushkar, one of the holiest cities in Hinduism.

Rafting in Rishikesh

In Rishikesh I went rafting for the first time in my life. Extreme fun!!
We slided down the holy river Ganges and surfed on it's gigantic waves.

Highly recommended! Amazing experience and the best kick :-)

Amritsar

After beeing for the last 3-4 months in the peaceful mountains of northern India, coming to the city of Amritsar was like another cultural shock for me.

Here I say for free in the Temple Guest House and eat for free in the community kitchen of the Golden Tempel (together with around 30 000 people each day!!).

The atmosphere is great and the people are very generous.
The Golden Tempel itself is overwhelming and has a very special charisma.

Today or tomorrow I'm going to leave for Rishikesh, my last stop before Rajastan.

BE HAPPY!

Andaman Islands I'm coming

Finally I booked tickets to the Andaman Islands. About 1200km away from the Indian mainlands the Andamans should be a deserted paradise with a large population of indigenous tribes.
Just the right location to celebrate my one year anniversary in India and to enjoy my last days in this unique country before I continue my trip to Thailand.

Looking forward to love, beach and sunshine!
Andaman Islands I'm coming!!! Sooooon :-)

Spiti Valley

Located in Himachal Pradesh, feels like Ladadkh. Back to the desert of the rain shadow side of the Himalayas and the beauty of the desert.

Sick after the first day I stay in Kee Monastery for two Weeks and got an impression of the life of Buddhist monks.
